Ludington hosts the annual craft beer tasting festival, aptly named Suds on the Shore from 12pm-5pm at Rotary Park (formerly City Park) at Gaylord and Court Streets. This popular event, scheduled in mid-August, is fun for participants and is also a fundraising effort for the United Way of Mason County.
The festival features vendors from all around Michigan, with 40 represented in 2022. The vendors serve over 100 samples of craft beer, hard cider and Michigan wine, while participants also enjoy live music and food.
Tickets are $50 each and include entry into the festival, plus 9 sample tokens and a souvenir glass. Each token gets you 4oz. of beer or 2oz. of wine. Designated Driver tickets (for those who won’t be drinking) are $5 at the gate. This event is only for those 21 and older. No babies or children.
