Miss Ludington Area Pageant
The Annual Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Pageant was held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the West Shore Community College Center Stage Theater.
The pageant is open to never-married women between the ages of 17-24 (or high school seniors) from Mason, Manistee and Oceana counties. Contestants are judged based on-stage question, interview, talent and evening gown/social impact statement. The winner is qualified to enter the Miss Michigan Pageant, a precursor to the Miss America Pageant.

About Miss Ludington 2017, Leah Massie
22-year old Leah Massie was crowned the 2017 Miss Ludington Area, held at West Shore Community College's Center Stage Theater.
Massie is a 2012 graduate of Ludington High School and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in social work from Grand Valley State University. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in social work and she is the daughter of Tim and Brenda Massie of Ludington. Her platform during her reign will be "LIGHT", "Leading Improvement, and Giving Hope Together: Changing the Conversation About Adoption," which is an adoption advocacy group.
Leah follows Shelby Soberalski, 2016 Miss Ludington Area, and competed against 5 other women for the title.
