Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program

September 2024

The 2024 Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program was held on Saturday, September 24th, 2023 at 4pm at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts- 107 S. Harrison St., Ludington. Awards include four different scholarships totaling $3,000 to be used toward the contestants education.

Athena Dila was crowned Ms. Ludington Area 2024 which earned her a $1,000 scholarship, photos, a sash, crown, flowers, tanning package, and hair styling. Dila also won the Talent Award and the Community Service Award which afforded her another $1, 500 in scholarships. Aubrey MacIntosh was the runner up and won a $500 scholarship. The People’s Choice Award went to Lanie Hutchinson and Andrea Shoop was named Miss Congeniality.

About the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program

Eligible contestants must be age 18-28 and either work, live, or go to school in Manistee, Mason, Lake, or Oceana Counties. Contestants are judged based on talent, evening wear, on-stage interview, and their social impact initiative pitch. The winner is qualified to enter the Miss Michigan Pageant, a precursor to the Miss America Pageant.
