What was once named Brenda’s Harbor Cafe is now officially called Ludington Harbor Cafe, or more simply referred to as Harbor Cafe.
We are a locally owned and operated diner with a homey setting and a relaxing, nautical decor. You can count on our fast, friendly service! We are open daily from 6am – 2pm.
Karl Reeds is a community-driven entrepreneur with a deep passion for the local dining industry. As a lifelong resident of Mason County, Michigan, Karl’s roots in the area are evident through his early experience working in his parents’ restaurant, North Country Cafe, which he later acquired. His expansion to own and rebrand Brenda’s Harbor Cafe into Ludington Harbor Cafe demonstrates his strong commitment to preserving and enhancing the region’s culinary scene, especially in the “Family Friendly Diner” category.
Karl’s investment in these businesses comes from his foundation of being hardworking, resourceful, and dedicated to continuing local traditions. His entrepreneurial spirit is fueled by a desire to contribute to the local economic and social fabric, creating gathering spaces where locals and visitors can enjoy delicious, reasonably priced diner favorites.
In addition to North Country Cafe and Ludington Harbor Cafe, Karl will soon reopen the former Kuntry Kubbard under the new name of Ludington Corner Cafe, appropriately named for its location at the corner of US 10 & 31.
