Ludington Celebrated Its Sesquicentennial in 2023!

The beautiful laketown of Ludington, Michigan, held a year-long 150th birthday party in 2023 for its Sesquicentennial! Many events and activities were incorporated into the event throughout the year. 

These events were held as part of the celebration:

  • Love Ludington Weekend Mini Golf at the Ludington Area Jaycees Course

  • Love Ludington Street Party in Downtown Ludington

  • Appearances by the Budweiser Clydesdales

  • A Historic Homes Walking Tour

  • Birthday Bash for the SS Badger Carferry

  • Concert with the Scottville Clown Band at Waterfront Park

  • Maritime Heritage Trail Walking Tour

  • Various Art Classes at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts

  • Sesquicentennial Ball at Stearns Hotel
