Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program

The 2021 Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program was held on Sunday, September 19th at 4pm at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts- 107 S. Harrison St., Ludington. Allison Kaatz was crowned Miss Ludington along with receiving the Talent Award for her dance performance. The crown includes a semester of schooling at West Shore Community College, the $1,000 Susie Brillhart Memorial Scholarship, and photos courtesy of Sue Brown.

Other awards from the pageant included Mallory Wietrzykowski: First Runner Up & People’s Choice Award, Alana Calhoun: Community Service Award, and Natalie Urbon: Miss Congeniality.

About the Miss Ludington Area Scholarship Program

The event is open to never-married women between the ages of 17-25 (or high school seniors) from Mason, Manistee, and Oceana counties. Contestants are judged based on-talent, evening wear, on-stage interview, and their social impact initiative pitch. The winner is qualified to enter the Miss Michigan Pageant, a precursor to the Miss America Pageant.
