The Ludington State Park is currently closed until July 1st, 2025 for renovations. Some areas of the park are still accessible, however. Check out more options for Ludington area camping and activites below.

Friends of Ludington State Park is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting wise use and conservation of the Ludington State Park. The organization supports and helps improve the park by funding projects, recreational equipment and interpretive programs, and by volunteering to assist park staff on projects and trail clean-up.

The FLSP hosts many programs throughout the year to encourage use of the park and raise funds for future projects. For summer event programming, click here. To see the programming offered in the winter months, click here.

The Ludington State Park is currently closed for renovations. The park is slated to reopen on July 1st, 2025.
