St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Ludington

The Ludington Downtown Development Authority along with local businesses present an annual weekend of fun to celebrate the Luck ‘O the Irish!

Here's what happened in 2024:

Friday

  • 6-9pm – Live music at Jamesport Brewing Company– 110 N. James St., Ludington, featuring Road Less Traveled

Saturday

  • All Day – Beers With Friends LOSD Pub Crawl– Informal pub crawl featuring drink specials at eight local establishments during their operating hours. There is no cost other than the drinks/food purchased and attendees are encouraged to wear green and invite friends. 
  • During Food Service Hours – Corned Beef & Cabbage Special at Sportsmans– 111 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington.
  • 7:30-8:45am – Irish Jog Run Packet Pick-up at Legacy Plaza– 110 N. James St.
  • 9am – Irish Jog 1 Mile Run/5k/10k – Route is from the corner of Loomis St. and Rath Ave. and back.
  • 9-11am – Boozy Breakfast Kegs & Eggs at The Mitten Bar/Hoyt’s Next Door/Sportsman’s– 111 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington.
  • 11am-1pm – St. Patrick’s Day Craft at Sandcastles Children’s Museum– 129 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington. Regular admission rates apply.
  • 1-3pm – JBS Beer Run at Jamesport Brewing Company. Must be 21 or older to run. Drink a 5 oz. beer then run around the block (.25 mile). Repeat 3 more times. Prizes for the top three in two categories.
  • 3-6pm – Live music at The Mitten Bar– 109 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington.
  • 6-9pm – Live music at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 9-10:15pm – Live music at the Sandbar– 203 S. James St., Ludington.

Sunday

  • During Food Service Hours – Corned Beef & Cabbage Special at Sportsmans– 111 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington.
  • 11:30am-8pm – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Jamesport Brewing Company- 410 S. James St., Ludington.  Includes Irish themed food specials and live Celtic music (music from 12-3pm)
  • 1-4pm – Live music at The Mitten Bar– 109 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington
