St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Ludington

The Ludington Downtown Development Authority along with local businesses present an annual weekend of fun to celebrate the Luck ‘O the Irish!

Here's what happened in 2026

Friday

  • 4-6pm – Irish Jog Run Packet Pick-up at LOTUS- 127 S. James St. 
  • 6-9pm – Live music featuring Mike & Dan from Road Less Traveled at Jamesport Brewing Company- 110 N. James St.
  • 6-9pm – Live music featuring Nick Veine at Ludington Bay Brewing Company- 515 S. James St.
  • 7:30pm – Live music featuring Harmonious Wail at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts- 107 S. Harrison St.
  • 9pm-2am – Shamrockin’ at The Tiki– 212 E. Ludington Ave. Wear your best green, sip on our signature green cocktails & beer, and dance the night away to a live DJ.

Saturday

  • 7:30-8:30am – Irish Jog Run Packet Pick-up at Hoyt’s Next Door- 111 W. Ludington Ave. 
  • 9am – Irish Jog 1 Mile Run/5k/10k – Route is from the corner of Loomis St. and Rath Ave. and back. Register at runludington.com
  • 9am-11am – Boozy Breakfast: Kegs & Eggs at The Mitten Bar/Sportsman’s/Hoyt’s- 109 W. Ludington Ave. 
  • 9am-1pm – Coffee Crawl is a four-hour, self-guided exploration of coffee drinks at participating businesses. Tickets are $25 each and include locally made, artisan pottery mug, a passport featuring downtown coupons, and a chance at prizes. Click here for tickets and more info.
  • 11am – Lucked Up Pub Crawl– Self-guided, informal pub crawl at participating Ludington Outdoor Social District establishments featuring drink specials. There is no cost other than the drinks/food purchased and attendees are encouraged to wear green and invite friends. 
  • 11am – St. Patrick’s Day Craft for kids at Sandcastles Children’s Museum- 129 E. Ludington Ave. Regular admission rates apply.
  • 12-3pm – Live music featuring Truck Stop Incident at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 1pm – JBC Beer Run at Jamesport Brewing Company. Must be 21 or older to run. Drink a 6 oz. beer then run around the block (.25 mile). Repeat 3 more times for a total of 24 oz. and 1 mile. A portion of each entry will go into the pot o’ gold. Fastest time takes home the pot o’ gold, a 40 oz tumbler, and bragging rights for a whole year. 
  • 2-5pm – Live music featuring 80 Cows at The Mitten Bar 
  • 6-9pm – Live music featuring Plain Jane Glory at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 8-10pm – Comedy Night at Timbers Prime- 103 W. Ludington Ave.  Tickets are $14.74 each and can be purchased at eventbrite.com
  • 7-9pm – Live music featuring Mike Luusua at The Mitten Bar 
  • 9pm – Live music at the Sand Bar featuring The Electric Red- 203 S. James St.
  • 9pm-2am – Shamrockin’ at The Tiki– 212 E. Ludington Ave. Wear your best green, sip on our signature green cocktails & beer, and dance the night away to a live DJ.

St. Patrick's Day (Official)

  • Irish Menu Featuring Bangers & Mash, Irish Boiled Dinner, and more at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 3:30pm – Teen St. Patrick’s Day Event at the Ludington Public Library- 217 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington. Activities include traditional Irish foods and a screening of the film, “The Luck of the Irish.” Free and open to teens in 6th-12th grades.
  • 5-8pm – Live music featuring Eric Engblade, Ezekiel Kinney, and Loren Kranz at The Mitten Bar
