St. Patrick's Day in Downtown Ludington

March 2026

The Ludington Downtown Development Authority along with local businesses present an annual weekend of fun to celebrate the Luck ‘O the Irish!

Here's what happened in 2025:

Friday

  • Nitro Stout Launch at Jamesport Brewing Company– 110 N. James St.
  • 4-6pm – Irish Jog Run Packet Pick-up at LOTUS- 127 S. James St. 
  • 6-9pm – Live music at Jamesport Brewing Company featuring Road Less Traveled
  • 6-9pm – Live music at Ludington Bay Brewing Company– 515 S. James St., featuring Nick Veine
  • 9pm-2am – Shamrockin’ at The Tiki– 212 E. Ludington Ave. Wear your best green, sip on our signature green cocktails, and dance the night away to a live DJ.

Saturday

  • 7:30-8:30am – Irish Jog Run Packet Pick-up at Sportsman’s/Hoyt’s Next Door- 109 W. Ludington Ave. 
  • 9am – Irish Jog 1 Mile Run/5k/10k – Route is from the corner of Loomis St. and Rath Ave. and back.
  • 9am-11am – Boozy Breakfast: Kegs & Eggs at The Mitten Bar/Sportsman’s/Hoyt’s- 109 W. Ludington Ave. Breakfast plates, beer, boozy coffee, Mimosas, and Bloody Marys will be available for purchase.
  • 10am-5pm – Click, Smile, Repeat Photo Booth at The Mitten Bar
  • 12pm-12am – Lucked Up Pub Crawl– Self-guided, informal pub crawl at 10 participating Ludington Outdoor Social District establishments featuring drink specials. There is no cost other than the drinks/food purchased and attendees are encouraged to wear green and invite friends. 
  • 1-3pm – JBC Beer Run at Jamesport Brewing Company. Must be 21 or older to run. Drink a 6 oz. beer then run around the block (.25 mile). Repeat 3 more times for a total of 24 oz. and 1 mile. A portion of each entry will go into the pot o’ gold. Fastest time takes home the pot o’ gold, a 40 oz tumbler, and bragging rights for a whole year. 
  • 1-3pm – Live music at The Mitten Bar– 109 W. Ludington Ave., featuring Adam Marth
  • 5-7pm – Live music at The Mitten Bar featuring 80 Cows
  • 5-10pm – Photo Booth, Nitro Stout Launch, & Anniversary Menu at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 6-9pm – Live music at Jamesport Brewing Company featuring Groovix Cube
  • 9pm – Live music featuring The Electric Red at the Sand Bar– 203 S. James St., Ludington.
  • 9pm-2am – Shamrockin’ at The Tiki– 212 E. Ludington Ave. Wear your best green, sip on our signature green cocktails, and dance the night away to a live DJ.

Sunday

  • Irish Menu Featuring Bangers & Mash, Irish Boiled Dinner, and more at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 12-4pm – St. Patrick’s Day Rainbow Craft at Sandcastles Children’s Museum– 129 E. Ludington Ave. Regular admission rates apply.
  • 11:30am-8pm – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Jamesport Brewing Company- 410 S. James St., Ludington.  Includes Irish themed food specials and live Celtic music (music from 12-3pm)
  • 2-6pm – Live music at Jamesport Brewing Company– 110 N. James St., Ludington, featuring Truck Stop Incident
  • 4pm – Ben Traverse & the Little River Ceilidh Band perform at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts- 107 S. Harrison St.

Monday

  • Irish Menu Featuring Bangers & Mash, Irish Boiled Dinner, and more at Jamesport Brewing Company
  • 5-7pm – Live music at The Mitten Bar featuring Eric Engblade
